Delaware

SREC Procurement Program

The enrollment period for this program will be in early spring 2012.
• Tier 1 (<50kW) SREC Rate: $260/MWh for years 1-10
• Tier 2A (50-250kW) SREC Rate: $240/MWh for years 1-10
• Tiers 2B & 3 (>250kW) SREC Rate: Bid Price for years 1-10
• All Tiers SREC Rate: $50/MWh for years 11-20

There are ‘bonuses’ available for using Delaware labor and Delaware-made components that can increase SREC values by 10% per bonus (or 20% using both bonuses).

Delaware Electric Cooperative

• General Rebate Rate: $0.35- $1.25/W
• Non-Profit Rebate Rate: $0.70- $2.55/W
• Maximum Incentive:

  Residential: $10,000

  Non-Residential & Non-Profit: $20,000

Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation

• Rebate Rate: 33.3% of installed costs
  (25% for Dover and Seaford)
• Maximum Incentive:

MassCec – Commonwealth Solar II Rebates

  (up to $250,000 per parent company)

Residential Tax Exemptions/Credits

• 15% of system cost (up to $1,000) credit on state income tax
